Together with Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, Goal Group hosted leading investment and superannuation fund managers at a Securities Class Actions discussion lunch in Sydney last week.
Michael Donelly, Principal Lawyer at Maurice Blackburn, presented the key issues currently impacting institutional investors, and several of our clients shared their experience of participating in the recoveries process.
This prompted a lively discussion concerning recent changes in the litigation funding environment in Australia, as well as the governance and oversight arrangements employed to assess class actions. Attendees were also given tips and tricks for reviewing and deciding on competing class actions, including a convenient check-list.
It was great to hear so many positive comments about our service proposition in the APAC region and globally.
