Goal Group class action team

James started his career at GOAL in May 2008 and previous employers included an international TV & radio broadcaster and one of the Big 4 accountancy firms.

At Goal, James is the Company Secretary, runs the HR and finance functions for the group and also manages our best practice policies ensuring that we continue to achieve to a level of ISO 9001:2008 standard, an accreditation which we have held since May 2006.

James is also responsible for co-ordinating our responses to RFP's and sales proposals.

Michael was appointed in October of 2012 having previously been a Partner at Heffler Claims Administration for over 25 years. At Goal, Michael is responsible for the development and sales of Goal’s suite of products and services and the on-going relationship management for all business in North and South America.

Michael’s extensive class action experience encompasses all aspects of claims administration from notification procedures, claim form processing , fund disbursements and qualified settlement fund taxes.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Jonathan joined GOAL in February 2013, having previously worked for CIBC, Bloomberg and latterly Fitch Ratings where he was the Director of Sales for Greater China within their Solutions Group.

Jonathan is based in our Hong Kong offices in the prestigious Cheung Kong Center from where he utilizes his extensive of working for many years with asset managers, banks and global financial institutions in the Asia Pacific.

Andreas joined GOAL in February 2007 and has over 17 years’ experience in the Securities industry of which 11years are within the Global Securities Class Actions arena. This experience has been integral to Goal attaining our ISO9001 accreditation and ongoing development of our bespoke software.

Andreas has previously held roles at Deutsche Bank, Royal Trust of Canada and Macquarie.

In Melbourne, Andreas will oversee the development and sales of Goal’s market leading suite of products and services and the on-going relationship management for all business in Australasia.

Guy has over twenty years experience developing processing systems for the securities industry. He has worked at GOAL since 1990 developing and enhancing our solutions to meet client requirements.

He works closely with his team of software engineers, our Operations team and our Management to maintain the quality, effectiveness and stability of GOAL’s solutions. Guy has been a member of MENSA since 1985.

Ian joined GOAL in July 2003 having gained over 25 years experience in Custody and Securities operations specialising in settlements, client service, dividends and tax. Ian's extensive operational knowledge has proved invaluable in our quest to continually improve the quality of our products and services by interpreting our clients requirements and developing bespoke solutions accordingly. This continual improvement is an integral element of our ISO9001 accreditation.

Marie has a wealth of knowledge and industry experience having spent 24 years working in the Tax Operations and Audit Departments of major global custodians. Marie is a key member of our Management team and utilizes her considerable experience to ensure that our diverse and rapidly-expanding client base receive an exemplary level of service.

Pat joined Goal in January 2013, and has an extensive knowledge of the securities industry. Pat has over 25 years’ experience gained from working at some of the largest global financial institutions, in operations, relationship, product and sales.

Pat will be responsible for relationship management and the sales of Goal’s products and services in EMEA.

Christopher began his career at Goal Group in June 2009 after graduating from Loughborough University where he studied Electronic & Computer Systems Engineering.

Christopher previously worked in our operations department as head of the class action recoveries team, overseeing the recovery process and liaising with our global client base to ensure a high level of service delivery.

Christopher reports to Pat Bingham-Peters within the Sales & Relationship Management team for EMEA

Sarah joined Goal in October 2012, previously having worked for an award winning leisure property company in London and gaining over 7 years’ experience within this sector. Sarah is responsible for the administration and development of Goal’s sales & marketing efforts including the updating of our website, regular sales co-ordination with our global offices and network of sales agents and managing our relationships with our marketing consultants thereby ensuring the continued growth and success of our products and brand.

Charlotte has over 15 years strong analytical knowledge of withholding tax within the EMEA and US markets in the Investment Banking arena. Her proven ability to develop and manage key client relationships allied to her wealth of technical knowledge and experience is of great value in enabling us to grow and expand our trusted brand.

Within Goal, Charlotte is responsible for supervising our withholding tax reclamation team including the maintenance of the underlying tax rates, treaties etc.

Richard joined GOAL in June 2009 and has over 35 years experience in global custody within settlements, corporate actions, dividends and withholding tax.

Over the last 20 years Richard has specialised in all facets of withholding tax at both client and corporate level . This extensive knowledge facilitates ensures our clients at kept at the forefront of any new or potential legislative changes that impact their business.

Kate joined Goal Group in 2012 with nearly 18 years experience in the financial services Industry, specialising in Settlements, Client Service and Reconciliation's. After initially working in our Quality assurance department Kate has now taken up a role within the Operations Group where her extensive operational experience will be invaluable to ensuring our clients continue to receive a high level of service from the Class Action Recoveries Team.

Carol started her Goal career in February 2012. Her previous roles included 10 years’ with a major UK-based Pension consultancy and Carol utilizes this invaluable experience to ensure a premium service delivery to our class action client-base.

Martin is a member of our global class actions processing team. Prior to joining us Martin’s career had encompassed operational roles for a global office equipment corporation and a multi-media company.

Charlotte recently joined Goal after leaving full-time education. This is Charlotte’s first full-time role which we hope will be the beginning of a highly successful career in the financial services industry.
